((Ok I wanted to create an Open Rp and I finally got an Idea for one. Darcros has been Noir's "plaything" for a bit too long and wants some compensation. Although Darcros is obediant and will do what the Dark lords tell him he feels that Noir has overstepped that boundry and needs to be punished. Darcros is planning to get back at the Dark lord (not kill him) and you will decide if he does or not. All of you can decide to help Lord Noir or help Darcros or even remain neutral and only get involved to keep it going.))

Darcros is sitting in a chair in his chambers. All the walls have writing in blood all over them saying "Revenge" "Noir will be mine" and "Death would be too kind" as well as many other cruel things toward Noir. He always left a journal of things Noir has done to him and how much he loathed it. It is obvious by just searching his room that Darcros wants to assault Noir one way or another. He left his room to enact his revenge and the door is open to all who dare enter the lair of the Soul Eater.

I might add that those in the Cult of Mahk may find it quite fun to be your adversaries in this endeavor. *hint hint*. ))

((Before I begin keep in mind this is all RP))

Jachin, First Prophet of Machiavelli-Noir slams the Codex Noir shut and fixes his gaze on the Soul Eater

You insolant little insect!  How dare you bring forth accusations against our beloved Dark Lord?  Especially you, whose very identity hinges on the existance of The Ascendant!

Who are you and why do you feel this need to point out to everyone the attentions that Noir gives to you?

Do you really think that you are the only one?  Have you not knelt quietly as I have spread the words of Noir? His will is everything and you are blessed that he even looks in your direction.  And you dare to complain about it?

Your very existance is at the whims of He Who Shall Always Be Named.  You are living in a world of illusion if you think that any action you take could slight Him in any way.

I make a call now to all the Children of Noir!  If this one does not confess his heresy and repent, we shall be His divine justice and will purge any thoughts he has against our beloved Dark Lord with fire and kittens with really sharp claws!!

Or, to put it another way...

Jachin, First Prophet of Machiavelli-Noir opens the Codex Noir
Quote from: The Book of Nocturnal Emissions, Chapter 3 Verse 22

Oh. Darcros, I apologize; I forgot you were there. You may go now.

((ok everyone, i am playing Meeb Gun now and not Kriiak Sqwigfud, so i'mma just RP Meeb))

Meeb sat in the dark, dank tunnel, accompanied only by the sound of his own mumbling.  In his hulking, green hands lay the decapitated head of a Dwarven Slayer, its eyes still open in disbelief.  Meeb was ripping strands of hair from the dead dwarf's beard as he mumbled, "Nor wubz Meeb...'e wubz Meeb nawt...Nor wubz Meeb...'e wubz Meeb nawt...Nor wubz Meeb...'e wubz Meeb nawt..."

Suddenly, Meeb's senses overwhelmed him.  The Orc looked around for the source.  He sniffed the air and, upon smelling the odor of fowl and seawater, Meeb knew exactly who had called him.

" 'E WUBZ MEEB!!!", the extatic Orc bellowed as he barreled off through the tunnels in search of his lord and his lords first prophet.

--Interesting, a plot against Noir. Bael would kill for such an oportunity. Well..he'd kill anyway, but it's a damn figure of speach alright!--

Wandering around the cold, dank and damp Sanctum. Feeling meaningless, empty, devoid of anything remotely positive...in other words: Just the way he likes to feel, he hears the echos of someone in quite a bad mood.

This is of course not surprising, all happiness has died here a very long time ago.
Curious who might be the moody one Ar'achna attempts to locate the source of the echos.

Just as he managed to find it, he notices the moody one is Darcros, Soul Eater.
He just left his chambers, but left the door open.

"Well well...now he is just asking people to look through his privacy.
I say we take a peek.
Yes, let's see what makes Darcros moodier than usual."

Ar'achna barges in, stealth was never his thing anyway. And notices a lot of Noir hate on the walls.

"Noir will be mine", if it weren't accompanied by Death being too kind for him we may have had a lovestory here.
Hm...but he doesn't like Noir. Seems like he's plotting against him.
Oh, much pleasure to be had there. Do you think he'd actually do something, like kill him or torture him?
We can try and help him with that.
Oh the look on Noir's face when I have it in my hands."

Ar'achna decides he should keep an eye on Darcros, see if he would actually do something to Noir.
So he sits down in the Soul Eater's chair and waits.

I prefer this Soul Eater over Sordin, that's for sure now.

Kitta skipped down the hallway, humming loudly to herself, looking in vain for some adorable squishy thing to hug. A commotion came out of an open door in front of her, actually drawing her attention.  The girl stopped moving, stopped humming and listened for a moment.

"Hmm, someone big and clumsy.  Or maybe all angry and stomping around.  Or a Chaos Beast? It could be a Chaos Beast," she thought.

Kitta crept softly and silently to the door and peeked in carefully.  She saw bits of bloody text on the walls, and someone sitting in a chair, but the angle was bad to see just who it was.

"Noir will be mine?  Revenge? Oh, it does sound like someone is biting off more than he can chew.  How precious," the voice whispered silkily in her mind.

Aloud the zealot cried out, "Who?  Who is chewing?"

The souleater was wandering down the halls. His plan had already been through stage one, he had collected the 'tools' he required. He carried a large container that read "Subject 1". The container was moving on its own and was easily the size of the Soul eater's breastplate. He brought it to the dungeons in the Sanctum where he thought it would be safe while he gathered the other subjects from an undisclosed location. He started to wander out of the sanctum suspiciously constantly looking over his shoulder.

"Soon....soon Noir will know true pain. I know something that all know but do not acknowledge. I can't believe that none have thought of it before...." he muttered to himself. Then a large orc came out of the shadows. "Ah Cragtor, its about time". The orc responded "Whut youz need me fer boss." Darcros whispered into the orc's ear then backed away. "Get on with it" he yelled. "Yez sir".

"Remember don't tell anyone you fool". They both left each other in different directions.

((OOC: Seems I attracted some attention. Excellent. Cragtor is a black orc who for secretive reasons follows Darcros obediantly. He know has information on "Subject 2" location. Cragtor can be more easily fooled but Darcros holds more information.....))

Digs and Fugz were wandering the halls and Digs noticed Darcros' door was open and he wasn't in the room. "Oi wait 'ere Fugz oise gunna go read 'is journal fink." Digs said as Fugz looked down at him. "But boss oi wonna read it to." Digs laughed and shook his head. "Yew know yew kint read!" he said before entering and opening the journal to the most recent entry. Digs laughed and closed it shaking his head. "Oi dis oughtta be funny ta wotch 'e wonts ta take down Noir." he added before jumping onto the Orc's shoulders. "Shud we go tell 'im boss?" Fugz asked him quietly. "Nah dis is tu much fun to ruin lets jess' wotch." Digs sat tapping Fugz on the back of the head making him walk away from the room.

Squiggie waddles down the hallway towards the new applicant Interrogation Chamber carrying a duck with a tag labeled 'Property of M. Noir.  Oi wonder why dat Noir puts dese tag fings on dem ducks...his ducks be da only wuns 'round...

Pausing as he notices the Soul Eater's door ajar, he peeks in.  "EEK!" Squiggie yells as he jumps and hides the duck behind his back.  "Lord Bael, wot youse do to da Soul Eatah?"

"Me, nothing...but when Noir sees this..." he stated flatly gesturing to the walls, "then the fun will start."

Reading the hate written on the walls, Squiggie lets out a low whistle.  "Wanna make it more fun?" he asked with a grin.

"I am just observing...for now.  But you can feel free to take whatever roll you wish in this little fiasco." Lord Bael said with a chuckle.

"Oi wuz gonna 'ave fun wif wun of da fresh meet wif dis," Squiggie said holding up the duck, "but dis'll be lots more funner!"  Digging around in his pack, after dropping random bits of 'shineys' he yells "Aha!"  Squiggie then pulls a chair over to the door and hops up, holding the squirming duck, he spreads its wings nailing each to the door and finally putting a nail through its webbed feet.  Pushing the chair back, Squiggie salutes Lord Bael.

Laughing to himself, Squiggie says "Wait till Noir sees dis!"  Squiggie waddles on down the hallway chuckling at the image of the duck flapping itself pathetically, in it's crucifixion pose, on the Soul Eater's door.

Darcros entered the Sanctum holding string, a slab of meat, and a copper wire. He did not go to his room but rather went to the dungeons where he kept the specimen. He dropped the items by the growling container. "Dont worry, you'll have your fun soon" he said to the trapped creature which seemed to calm it a bit.

Meanwhile Cragtor left the sanctum and headed for troll country. It was there that he must retrieve what his master desired.

Darcros was resting in the dungeon awaiting his lacky when he heard some strange noises coming from about where his room is. He began to march towards in room in confusion just now realizing all the evidence he had left. He began to sprint down the halls. Hopeing that no one will inturrupt his cause.

Watching the strange Squiggie leave after having cruscified a duck he returns to the diary he just noticed before being interrupted.

Now then, to read the most private of things.
I wonder if what's in here is just as hateful as what's on the wall.
I actually wonder why people seem to think that doing things to his duck makes Noir feel bad.
It's because he tags the critters, makes them think..hah, right..that they're special or something.

The diary?
Oh...yeah...Dally did I do.

"Dear diary..."

"Who are you and what in the Aethyr makes you think you can come in my chambers and live to tell!!?" A panting voice yelled at from the doorway.

"Oh no, I've been spotted. Please don't hurt me...
No, it's because I am more likely to kill you, maggot." Ar'achna responds, dramatically walking into Darcros' vision.

"Oh god.."
"Well, I can see it's hard to see the difference, but Lord will do for now." Ar'achna interrupted Darcros.

"My lord..."
"I'm still talking you know." Ar'achna said calmly, but suddenly fear itself seemed to radiate from him.
"Now, I see that you have a certain...interest in Lord Noir's health. I wonder...just why this is.
But more importantly, I order you to tell me what your plans are, so that I can make sure it actually succeeds."

Darcros seemed to need some time grasping what had just unfolded here.

Kitta had been enjoying all the activity, although the duck thing was a touch odd.  Ducks almost seemed adorable enough to hug, but anyway... Hmm.  Maybe ducks were adorable enough to hug.  She stood up from the hallway where she had been sitting, marched boldly over to the door.  Looking up at the crucified duck she closed her eyes and reached deep inside herself, to the vast and echoing silence.  Kitta became a portal through which that silence flowed, spilling over the inert form of the duck, which promptly started struggling and quacking.

"Oopsy.  I should have pulled it down first!"

Darcros regained his composure. "My Lord I find it hard to believe that you would turn against Noir." Darcros suddenly seemed superior. "My mission is secretive and you could jepordize that" Ar'achna looked at him angrily. "Must be very secretive" he gestured to the walls. Darcros chuckled "Well I guess my emotions can get the better of me at times."

They both awkardly looked at each other, it was then Darcros heard a commotion outside of his door. He looked outside to see Kitta fiddling with the door and skipping away. Darcros noticed the duck and became blood angry. "Noir already has wind of my plans?!" he said. "No, not yet at least. That was the work of a little gobbo. I believe that one was Squiggie or something." Ar'achna responded.

Darcros crushed the duck with his bare hands only leaving blood and feathers. "That bastard. I must eliminate him before Noir gets wind of my plans" Darcros said still fueled in hatred. Ar'achna laughed "Tell me how that goes little chosen." Darcros then stormed out of the room in search of the goblin and at the same time staying on schedule.

Meanwhile Cragtor is on his way to the sanctum carrying a wet sack that is crawling a bit. The orc seems almost disgusted with it as he is eating a stuntie leg with his free hand. The massive bloodied axe on his back ensured that it was fresh.

It is mid-afternoon, the daily slaughters having raged for hours already under the oppressive sun of the Asur lands. Deep within the confines of his most beloved Sanctum, however, in a solitary, windowless chamber etched into the living heart of the earth, all is dark and still.
From beneath a pile of tangled silken sheets in the corner, wings flap sleepily. From beneath an even larger tangle of sheets atop a massive, four-poster bed, four pairs of legs shift about restlessly. Wakefulness lingers at the fringes of their sleepy minds, ready to pounce at any moment and pronounce the middle-aged day. But not yet.
The Dark Lord M. Noir will likely sleep for another hour or two yet.

Digs jumped off of Fugz' shoulders and looked up at the brute. "Oise goink ta check on sum papah wurk be back 'ere in twu 'ours git!" He shouted giving the choppa a sharp wack over the head with the haft of his spear before entering his office.

Fugz stormed down the hallway back to Darcos' room making no attempt to disguise his approach. He hated Noir with a burning passion. He hated Noir almost as much as he hated Dwarves but that was a very hard grudge for anybody to top.
He stood outside of the door and listened to Arachna and Darcros talking.
